Life can be hard sometimes.  Your kids grow up and graduate and don't need you as much.  The Vancouver Canucks play one great game and then fall flat for the next one.  This spring has definately not been a great intro to summer.  Where did the sun go?  All our carefully constructed plans can be blown out the window in a few short seconds!  Then I look outside and see the new growth on the trees and the colorful display of newly planted flowers and I am truly comforted, if only for a minute or two.  Would I rather be a tree or a flower?  Hmmm....no not a good idea, as they get attacked by birds, insects and the human pest.  I believe I will continue on the path that I have been given and keep waiting for the warmth of the sun to warm me from the depth of my soul.  Life is truly unpredictable!
