BIA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
A 16-member board of directors ensures that the programs initiated and implemented by the BIA committees are fulfilled and the BIA’s mission stays on track. The BIA board consists of eight property owners and eight business owners elected by the BIA membership at an annual general meeting.
Emphasizing the downtown’s importance to the community at large, the Board includes three ex-officio members: a City of Chilliwack councillor, the City Manager of Development Services and the president and chief executive officer of the Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation (CEPCO).
