Friends of the Library Photo Contest

Announcing the sixth annual Friends of the Library Photo Contest! We are again offering all amateur photographers from Chilliwack and area (Hope, Agassiz, Yarrow and Abbotsford) another chance to showcase their talent. There is no entry fee.

Contest Rules:
- Photos must have been taken in the Fraser Valley between August 2011 and August 2012.
- There are two categories:
    - Seasonal/Places
    - People/Animals
- Film or digital photos may be used.
- All photos must be un-mounted 5x7–inch prints.
- No more than two entries are allowed per photographer.
- There are four age categories:
    - Under 11
    - 11 – 16
    - 17 – Adult
    - Library Staff/Friends of the Library

Entries can be submitted at the information desk of the Chilliwack Library from 10 am on Monday, June 18 until 4:30 pm on Saturday, August 18. Late entries will not be accepted. All photographs will be displayed in the library. Sorry, but photos will not be returned. Prizes of gift certificates will be awarded on Wednesday, September 5, at 7 pm.
