Since 1995, the Downtown Chilliwack Business Improvement Association has worked hard to represent the commercial property owners and merchants within our BIA boundries.  The DCBIA was created to work with local government, property owners and local organizations to help facilitate positive change and provide a collective voice in support of the downtown area.

From our office in historic 5 Corners in the heart of the downtown core, the DCBIA represents Mary Street, east to Williams Street and Railway Avenue, north to Victoria Avenue.  This area is home to over 400 unique and diverse businesses.

The DCBIA advocates for economic and business development, cultural and business diversity and works to ensure Downtown Chilliwack continues to be a vibrant destination location for locals and tourists alike!

It is our aim to be the PULSE of our downtown.

  • Promoting new business development in our area including the many phases of District 1881 created by the team at Algra Bros Developments.

  • Uniting our existing long time businesses with the young entrepreneurs opening businesses in our area.

  • Listening to our DCBIA members and the customers who support this area about the ways and means to improve our service and how we do business.

  • Supporting our many merchants and owners with training resources, 24/7 security and grafiiti removal.  We also provide individual benefit programs and funding for facade improvements, events and community beautification projects.

  • Engaging our members to promote and share the Downtown Chilliwack experience. Whether you are shopping for the day or investing in a new business downtown, we are ready and waiting for you!
