• As we close our office doors until early January, the DCBIA has completed another very successful year.

 

• Marketing campaigns that saw our social media channels increase 35%

• Almost $40,000 in facade and business improvements through our security & facade grants.

​

• Improved and updated lighting in our downtown core with more scheduled for 2026.

​

• Commercial spaces being filled in every area of our DCBIA with a diverse selection of businesses choosing Downtown Chilliwack as their home.

​

• Security cameras installed in 60% of our downtown core with more installations scheduled for 2026.

​

• Continued 7 day a week Grafitti and Street Clean teams in place.  Our "Downtown Mayor" Harold Is heading into his 27th year keeping the streets clean as an ambassador in our downtown.

• Events including our 20th Village Classic Car Show, drew thousands of visitors to our Downtown.  Watch this page for the 2026 events coming your way!

• The completion of the District 1881 property which has become an international tourist destination.  2026 will see the opening of exciting new businesses in our downtown...Stay tuned!

• As we say goodbye to 2025 and welcome a brand new year, we will continue to work with our business owners to ensure downtown Chilliwack continues to be a safe and welcoming space for locals and visitors alike to eat, play, shop and stay!
